I am an Early Years Teacher with over 20 years of experience working with young children in a variety of roles including Nursery Practitioner, Pre-school Early Years Educator, BSL Baby Signing Teacher, OFSTED Registered Childminder and Preschool Deputy Manager/Early Years Teacher. I’m currently registered with OFSTED to provide both Childminding and Nannying (Home Childcare) alongside my other work with children and families and as a Tutor and Trainer of Early Years.

I hold a degree in Early Years, Childhood & Youth Studies & Sociology, an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning & Development, and have completed a wide range of professional development courses. I am always up to date with Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety & Hygiene and Advanced Safeguarding. I have an enhanced DBS check on the update service.

Ten Acre was created to provide a calm, nurturing environment where children can develop curiosity, confidence and a love of learning. My approach is inspired by nature-based education, Hygge, and the belief that children learn best through meaningful experiences, relationships and exploration.
